FAQs
Is this safe?
Yes. Red and near-infrared light are non-UV, non-ionizing, and non-heating at therapeutic doses. The panel is CE, FDA, and RoHS certified. There is no contact with your skin — it sits on your counter while you sit in front of it. Thousands of published studies confirm the safety of photobiomodulation at these wavelengths. Protective goggles are included for eye comfort.
Is it safe with HRT (hormone replacement therapy)?
Yes. HRT addresses your systemic hormone levels. The panel addresses local cellular energy in your skin. They're complementary — HRT provides the hormonal environment, and the light provides the energy signal that triggers your cells to produce collagen. Many women on HRT report faster results. There are no known contraindications.
Is it safe while breastfeeding?
Red and near-infrared light are non-UV, non-ionizing, and non-systemic. Nothing enters your body or your milk. The light works locally on your skin cells only. There are no known contraindications for breastfeeding. That said, we always recommend mentioning any new device to your OB or midwife.
Is it safe with tretinoin or retinol?
Yes. Use the panel first, then apply tretinoin after your session. The near-infrared wavelength (850nm) has anti-inflammatory properties that many women find actually reduces the irritation and peeling from tretinoin. Panel first, actives after.
How quickly will I see results?
Most women notice their skin feels bouncier and more hydrated within the first 1–2 weeks. Visible changes — smoother texture, firmer feel — typically appear around weeks 4–6. By week 8, many women report that someone close to them notices without being told. The 90-Day Protocol is designed around this timeline. Consistency matters more than speed.
